J.T. White Native American Award

The J.T. White Native American Award is presented to a youth Arrowman who exemplified Native American traditions with drumming, dancing, singing, ceremonies, etc. Named in honor of Pellissippi Lodge Founder’s Award Recipient, Vigil Honor Member, and Adviser to many—J.T. White.

This award is not always given each year, but it has been awarded in recognition of those who have worked diligently in the area of American Indian Activities (AIA), which include dance, drumming, regalia and efforts to maintain Pellissippi Lodges rich tradition in AIA.
