The Lodge Chief will be responsible for all Lodge functions and will oversee all Lodge activities. The Lodge Chief shall make all decisions on Lodge policy with the advice of the Lodge Adviser.
The Lodge Chief is empowered to remove any Lodge officer who fails in his duties to the Lodge. In this event, he shall fill the vacant position with a qualified Arrowman after consultation with his Adviser.
The Lodge Chief shall provide representation for the Lodge at all national events, such as the National Leadership Seminar, the National Order of the Arrow Conference, and the OA Philmont Trek, etc.
Lodge Vice Chief of Program
The Lodge Vice Chief of Program will be responsible for campfire programs at all OA events with a campfire and will oversee the entertainment at all Lodge events, such as Quest games and activities, and organizing and managing supplies for scheduled programs and teaching. Furthermore, the Vice Chief will help the Lodge Chief when called upon.
The Vice Chief of Program oversees multiple committees, which are Camping Promotions, AIA, and Memorabilia. Furthermore, the Vice chief will assist the Secretary with the oversight of the Silver Fox committee.
Lodge Vice Chief of Administration
The Lodge Vice Chief of Administration will be responsible for any and all logistical support that the Chief needs, which includes, but is not limited to, transportation, entertainment, speakers, and foodservice. In addition, The Vice-Chief of administration is responsible for corresponding with all Committee chairman. Furthermore, the Vice Chief will help the Lodge Chief when called upon and will represent the Lodge Chief in his absence. Finally, the Vice Chief of Administration will help the Secretary with managing event registration.
The Vice Chief of Administration oversees multiple committees, which are Unit Elections, Vigil Honor, and Awards and Recognition. Furthermore, the Vice Chief will help the Treasurer with the oversight of the finance committee.
The Lodge Secretary shall maintain all Lodge Correspondence, membership files, and mailing lists. He will also be responsible for keeping minutes of Lodge and Executive Committee meetings. Furthermore, the Lodge Secretary is responsible for maintaining registration at all Lodge events, as well as overseeing and assisting the chairman for the newsletter, “The Silver Fox.”
The Lodge Treasurer, with the help of the Lodge Finance Committee of which he is the Chairman, shall maintain adequate financial records, corresponding with those of the Council Office and with the Secretary’s dues and membership records. With the help of the Lodge Finance Committee, he will also prepare and submit a budget to the Lodge. Furthermore, the Lodge Treasurer will be responsible for maintaining the Trading Post at all Lodge events and keeping an up-to-date inventory of all Lodge supplies.
