Ordeal Information

For newly elected candidates, and approved nominated adults, we want to congratulations on your selection for the Order of the Arrow (OA), Scouting’s National Honor Society!

Your selection, the first step of your journey, is now complete, and another is about to begin. It is a great honor to be selected for the Order, and you should be justly proud. Like many scouts before you, the Order of the Arrow may still seem to be a mystery. We assure you by the time you finish your induction weekend, not only will you understand the OA, but it is my hope that you will be an active member of this elite group of scouts.

The Ordeal is a great weekend experience that all candidates must complete to become a member of the OA.

Please register as soon as possible for the Ordeal if you plan to attend.

You will receive information on how to register as well as the dates and times of the induction weekend as well as the induction fee. The “Candidate Registration Form” along with your payment must be received by the Council Service Center by the date and time prescribed in the documentation you received at Call Out or from your troop.
